Root Chakra

A few words about the Root Chakra (pelvis). The first energetic center located in the pelvic area (the root chakra) is closely connected to our physical body. Working with this chakra is truly worthwhile, because in addition to being linked to our lineage and relationships—not only romantic ones—it is also responsible for the appearance and health of our body. Through the pelvis, we draw life energy from the Source, an energy capable of transforming the cells of our body and healing us from any physical imbalance or illness. By working with the root chakra, we also harmonize and heal our sexuality. How can we work with this chakra? First and foremost, it is important to realize that everything that exists is created from the elements and through their mutual interaction. In the technique we work with—drawing primarily from the Andean Meditation System—we focus on connecting these elements. Fire – inner vision (visualization), Water – bodily sensations, Air – creating intention, directing energy through the mind, Earth – inner voice (power sounds)
