Kambo - Holistic Medicine
When I lived in the Amazon years ago, the first six months were a time of healing my trauma. The jungle opened its arms to me, yet first it shone an uncompromising light on all my "shadows," bringing deeply hidden fears and wounds to the surface. The cleansing was intense, but necessary. I traveled to the Amazon to get to know myself more deeply. At that time, I was not happy. I was working in England as a caregiver for the elderly. I left my job, ended my relationship, bought a one-way ticket, and two weeks later I flew to Peru. It was so beautiful there that I decided to live in the jungle with a family who welcomed me in. The maestro (shaman) who lived with this family continually supported me through my inner processes. I went through many ceremonies, and gradually my heart began to open. The Amazon itself carries an incredibly powerful healing medicine. Its wildness, wisdom, and ancient healing force are its true essence. After many diets and working with medicinal plants, the Kambo frog called to me. In time, I felt the desire to learn from this medicine. I completed a six-month training. Between 2017 and 2023, I guided Kambo ceremonies in the Czech Republic, working with small groups as well as offering individual healing sessions.
